On January 20th, Saturday morning, Tech 101 Kids attended the very first Hudson Montessori Maker Faire, wowing kids and adults alike with our stunning creations.

Even though it was their first faire the quality of it could not have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful and inviting. Not to mention we got an amazing spot right by the door so that we may greet any visitors. Despite the size of the location, there was a constant flow of people anxious to see everyone’s inventions and creations. We were also seated directly across from an Oculus setup and a 3D printer. It was amazing. We even saw on top of the 3d printer a 3d printed iron man helmet. From a distance it looked almost exactly like the real one.

We were also put next to another group that had a more Rapt3r similar to our own. In the center there were the kids’ projects as well, the kids set up their own stand as well to fundraise for future stem events. If you wanted to you could also walk around the school and explore all the other rooms with each room having a different purpose. One room had the projects from the kids that attended that school. Another room had a few small presentations. While the last room contained more projects from students.

We decided to bring almost everything we had. We brought out Rubik’s Cubes, our MindCub3r, our Rapt3r, all of Joseph’s gadgets, the Meccanoid, and the Makey Makey. It was an incredible time.
